The two hidden costs
The $900 cliff
Skool Pro advertises 2.9% + 30¢ — but every transaction over $900 is charged 3.9% + 30¢ instead. It isn't shown on their public pricing page. community.io Pro stays flat at 2.9% at any ticket size.

Per-community stacking
Skool charges $99/mo for every community, no bundling — a free funnel group plus two paid tiers is $297/mo in subscriptions before any fees. community.io is priced per account: one subscription, unlimited communities.

Monthly cost = subscription (× communities where the platform stacks) + take rate × revenue + 30¢ × monthly transactions (revenue ÷ average price). Stacked platforms fold Stripe's processing into the rate shown.
